SafeStart New Driver Training Program

The SafeStart New Driver Training program teaches new G1 licensed drivers using a blend of interactive classroom learning and one-on-one in-vehicle training. Program graduates are eligible to take their G2 road test eight months after receiving their G1 learner’s permit instead of 12.

The program includes 20 hours of in-class theory complemented by hands-on simulation, 10 hours of online modules and 10 hours of private in-vehicle learning. 

Open to everyone aged 16 and up. Participants must have their G1 learner’s permit.
