To provide students with opportunities to deepen awareness and understanding of the critical factors
involved in interpersonal relationships. In the teaching/learning process students will have the opportunity to
increase their communication skills and deepen their understanding of their behaviour in interpersonal
situations.

In this course, students consider basic concepts from a number of scientific disciplines, such as biology,
physics, and chemistry. Through the examination of everyday occurrences, learners are introduced to
scientific ways of thought and to the problem-solving methods used by scientists. A background in science
and math is not required for this course.
