About the program
Please note that this program begins in January 2024 and runs through the summer.
Start a career as a professional chef or cook in today’s growing culinary industry. Learn valuable skills in food preparation, presentation and kitchen management in SGEI’s culinary lab. Students will learn Indigenous cuisine, baking and pastry arts, restaurant food production, culinary skills, wines, kitchen management, and more. Graduates of this program are eligible for direct entry into the second year of the Culinary Management program.

Admission
Ontario Secondary School Diploma and Grade 12 English (ENG4C/ENG4U), equivalent, or mature student test.
