Orientation schedule

Come tour our campus, learn about student resources and supports, meet your program coordinator and more.

Student photos – 11:30 a.m. to end of day
Please note that we will be taking your photo for your student ID card. Please come prepared to have your photo taken. 

BBQ lunch – noon
Students in person are invited to enjoy a free lunch!

Textbook purchasingnoon to end of day
We accept VISA, Mastercard, debit, cash and e-transfer (EFT). If your books are sponsored, please bring your sponsorship letter with you.

Health disciplines orientation – 1 p.m.
Nursing, PSW, and Paramedic students, join us for more program specific information!

Student orientation packages

Below lists information that will be covered/shared with you on orientation day.

Please check with your instructors/coordinators for the most up-to-date program schedules.

Please note that we will be taking your photo for your student ID card on-campus, during orientation.

Attention Canadore College and Durham College students: In addition to your SGEI student ID photo, your affiliate college requires you to upload a student ID photo:

If you are unable to attend your orientation, you will be required to submit a photo to SGEI. Click here for instructions on how to submit your SGEI student ID photo.

Sioux Lookout students: our photographer will be coming to your campus soon to take student ID photos. He will have a date by orientation.

If you are unable to attend your orientation

We encourage all students to attend their campus’s student orientation. If you are unable to attend:

  1. Familiarize yourself with your program schedule, important dates and the student handbook (see above)
  2. Complete all forms listed above. Email completed forms to admissions@7generations.org.
  3. Submit a photo for your student card. Click here for instructions on how to submit your student ID photo.
