Working at Heights Training
This training is provided in partnership with IHSA.
Working at Heights training runs on the first Wednesday of each month for four months starting on March 4. The remaining dates are April 1, May 6, and June 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at SGEI’s Kenora Campus.
Working at Heights (WAH) training is mandatory for workers who may use a method of fall protection to protect themselves from a fall hazard. Working at Heights training teaches workers to identify and control fall hazards, covering fall prevention (barriers, safe ladder/scaffold use) and fall protection (harnesses, anchor points, rescue), combining theory with mandatory hands-on practice for compliance with safety regulations.
