Welding Foundations Training
This training runs from July 20 to August 28, Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Rainy Lake Campus and Fort Frances High School welding shop.
This six-week entry-level program fosters a supportive learning community where participants can build foundational skills in welding. Through shared hands-on practice, safety training, and guided theory, participants develop confidence in welding processes, blueprint reading, tool use, and trade calculations. Learners explore welding theory, joint design, weld symbols, and material quality assessment while building connections that strengthen their path into the welding field.
