Women in Wildfire Engagement Session

Join us for an empowering and informative evening designed specifically for women interested in learning more about wildfire work and the upcoming MNR SP100 Wildland Firefighter Training Course happening April 20-24, 2026, at SGEI’s Rainy Lake Campus.

SGEI is partnering with the Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) for this event. The MNR will be in attendance to provide information, materials, and equipment on their end. It will take place in the Rainy Lake Campus atrium.

There will also be light snacks and refreshments available.

No need to register, but we ask participants to show up before the 5:30 p.m. start time.

Eligibility
This event is open to anyone who identifies as a woman and wants to explore opportunities in wildfire, connect with others, and build confidence in taking the next step.
