Orientation schedule
Textbook purchasing – 9-11 a.m. and 12:45 to 2:30 p.m.
We accept VISA, Mastercard, debit, cash and e-transfer (EFT). If your books are sponsored, please bring your sponsorship letter with you.
KENORA PRACTICAL NURSING ONLY – Orientation – 9 to 10:45 a.m.
Join us for practical nursing-specific orientation prior to student orientation.
Orientation – 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
Come tour our campus, learn about student resources and supports, meet your program coordinator, and more.
Student photos – 12:45 p.m. to end of day
Please note that we will be taking your photo for your student ID card. Please come prepared to have your photo taken.
Lunch – 12:45 p.m.
Students are invited to enjoy a free lunch!

- Photograph/image consent form – Please note that only new, first-year post-secondary students are required to complete this form.
Please note that we will be taking your photo for your student ID card on-campus, during orientation.
Attention Canadore College and Durham College students: In addition to your SGEI student ID photo, your affiliate college requires you to upload a student ID photo:

If you are unable to attend your orientation
We encourage all students to attend their campus’s student orientation. If you are unable to attend:
- Familiarize yourself with your program schedule, important dates and the student handbook (see above)
- Complete all forms listed above. Email completed forms to admissions@7generations.org.
