This program will prepare you for a rewarding and challenging career working with youth and adults in crisis. You will gain a working knowledge of the law, criminology, victimology and human behaviour. Benefit from practical workshops, industry tours and visits, and an integrated field placement component. Applied workshops include conflict resolution, mental health and addictions, suicide prevention and forensics. This comprehensive training will give you the skills you need to work in the fields of youth justice, restorative justice and adult corrections.

The program includes a 200-hour field placement component that can be completed anywhere in Canada!

Program Prerequisites
OSSD or equivalent, ENG4C or ENG4U

Additional Requirements:
Although no criminal record check is required for acceptance into the program, some course related activities will require the student to consent to a police background check.
