Welding Foundations Training

This training runs from August 24 to October 2, 2026, Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Beaver Brae Secondary School manufacturing shop.

This six-week entry-level program fosters a supportive learning community where participants can build foundational skills in welding. Through shared hands-on practice, safety training, and guided theory, participants develop confidence in welding processes, blueprint reading, tool use, and trade calculations. Learners explore welding theory, joint design, weld symbols, and material quality assessment while building connections that strengthen their path into the welding field.
