Open Doors: Celebrating Students & Community (Welcome Week)

Help us welcome our students to another academic year! As part of our first annual Welcome Week, SGEI is hosting students, their friends, families AND the public for Open Doors: Celebrating Students & Community and a Back-to-School Family Movie Night at our Kenora Campus! Welcome Week is a great opportunity for students to get acquainted with their school and resources available to them, and our community to show up for the next generation of learners and have some fun! 

Open Doors: Celebrating Students & Community 

Come celebrate the start of the new school year with a night of family-friendly fun at our Kenora Campus Open Doors event! We’ll have: 

• Yard games 
• Food vendors/trucks including Fizz & Cream Co Dirty Soda Shop (Each SGEI student will receive one free vendor voucher for an item of their choice) 
• Corn roast 
• Wild rice winnowing 
• Art activities 
• Music 
• Door prizes 
• Campus tours
