This event is open to SGEI staff and students only.
In commemoration of Red Dress Day, a day to honour Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two Spirit People (MMIWG2S), Jessica Wilson, Anishinaabekwe of Rainy River First Nations, will be sharing her knowledge on human trafficking, exploitation, and what creates the vulnerabilities for people to experience such violence. Jessica comes from a strength-based, trauma-informed approach that fosters safety and empowerment for those in need.
Gather early at 1 pm in the atrium for information on the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two Spirit Peoples (MMIWG2S) and available activities.
