Seven Generations Education Institute and the Aboriginal Human Health Resource Initiative are addressing the shortage of Health Care workers throughout Treaty #3 area. Write a 500 word essay or create a 1 minute video ad telling or showing: Why is it important for First Nations to be more involved in health careers?  Or: How to get involved in a health career.

PRIZES:

       1^ST  Place : An Acer Aspire 120GB Hard Drive, 1 GB RAM Laptop

       2^nd  Place : Seven Generations Back Pack

 ELIGIBILITY:

Grades 9-12.Treaty # 3 First Nations students

SUBMISSION CRITERIA

1. Original, thoughtful, engaging, and culturally relevant
2. Copyright free.
3. Agree to be published in our newsletter or on our web site.
4. 500 word essay or 1 minute video (U-tube Style)

JUDGING:

1. Appropriateness of subject matter.
2. Winners will be announced by June 9, 2008
