Admission Requirements:

Ontario Secondary School Diploma at or above the general level or its equivalent. Grade 12 or equivalent is required.

Mature Students:

Applicants aged 19 or over without the OSSD will be considered on the basis of their results on the College's Mature Student Test. If you are a mature student, please call Bill or Buddy at (807) 274-2796 to arrange to take the Canadian Adult Achievement Test (CAAT).

Prigram Overview

The Office Administration Program is delivered in an accelerated format (35 hours per week). This format allows you complete the program in only four months. The program is designed to give you a background in entry-level office skills to proceed into a second year of specialized training in the fields of business, legal, or medical office administration. Specialized training covers communications, office procedures and administration, social issues, business mathematics, bookkeeping, and microcomputer applications.

Upon completion of the Office Administration program, you are encouraged to enter the advanced Office Administratin program. However, those who wish to graduate after two semesters, are eligible for an Office Administration - General Certificate.

This is a great opportunity for you to pursue a certificate of diploma program in a challenging, innovative, and rewarding field. It can also be an effective way to enhance a college/university education and broaden your knowledge base with a host of transferable and marketable office skills. For most college students, securing employment is a top priority; the accelerated delivery mode offered in the Office Administration program provides a very efficient means of achieving this goal.
