WE WILL BE ACCEPTING NEW APPLICATIONS FOR THE Seven Generations Education Institute / Laurentian University Honours Bachelor of Social Work Program – Native Human Services Program.  Students attend classes part-time.  One weekend per month is spent in class with visiting instructors over the next 6 years. 

 There exists an opportunity for those applicants who ALREADY possess an undergraduate degree at the University level to join the cohort and gain qualifications for a professional social work degree.

 The Native Human Services Honours Bachelor of Social Work Programme is one of the three culturally specific social work programs in Canada that are recognized and accredited by the Canadian Association for Social Work Education (CASWE). The program has its foundations in the area's First Nations, which were instrumental and actively involved in its development. The goal of the Native Human Services program is to work effectively with Native and non-Native communities.

Online Application Procedures

First time applicants must apply through the Ontario University Appolication Centre online at www.ouac.on.ca. Once at the site please read the information carefully as there are different applications for students, one is for current high shool students, another is for students who are not in high school and yet another is for professional application. Once you have deteremined which category you belong to, proceed to fill out the application online.
