PROGRAM OVERVIEW:

The Early Childhood Education Program is designed to develop skills and knowledge that will enable individuals to discover the world of childhood. This is an activity-based program which emphasizes personal growth as well as the skills and abilities needed to nurture the development of young children. Through the study of theory and research, students will gain skills related to traditional knowledge, learning opportunities for young children and verbal and non-verbal communication. Students will complete field placements in which their skills will be implemented.
