Key Concepts: Environmental studies from the First Nation Perspective, Arts, Traditional values, Aboriginal issues, and more.
This is a year long unit based on the four seasons that includes the traditional values and skills of Anishinaabe people. Many seasonal activities are used for teaching the core curriculum areas of math, science, social studies, history, etc.. The unit includes a list of support materials and resources available through the Seven Generations Education Institute Library.
